CAREERS

No open roles. Still worth talking.

We are not going to invent job listings to look bigger than we are. There is no formal hiring process at SurveiLens right now, but the team will grow, and the people who join early will shape what Atlas becomes.

WHAT WE ARE BUILDING

A platform, deployed by the people who built it.

Atlas turns existing visual infrastructure into structured intelligence about physical environments. The engineering is genuinely hard. A cascaded perception stack running on hardware in someone else’s building, judged against a definition of normal that changes from one site to the next.

The work is not split into people who write the models and people who install them. For the next several deployments it cannot be: the platform only becomes reusable if the people building it have stood in the environments it is built for.

WHO FITS

What we would be looking for.

You want the deployment, not just the model

The interesting problems here are not on a benchmark. They are in an emergency department at two in the morning, working out why the system flagged something a charge nurse would have walked straight past.

You are suspicious of your own results

The first version of this product worked beautifully in a demo and was unusable in a building. The people who fixed that were the ones who went looking for reasons it was wrong.

You would rather delete code than add it

The architecture got better when it got smaller. A cheap stage that discards almost everything beat a large model applied to everything, and that instinct generalises.

You can say what you have not proven

We write that on our own technology page. It is not humility for its own sake. A team that cannot tell the difference between an argument and a result will eventually ship the wrong one.

Write to us before there is a job to apply for.

Tell us what you have built and what you would want to work on here. We read everything, and we will tell you honestly where things stand.
